Donny Rowell took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fernando Morientes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Donny Rowell showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fernando Morientes in the 15th minute of the match. In the 42nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Crystal Phallus's goalkeeper Donny Rowell, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Fernando Morientes might have been able to make a better finish in the 45th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Donny Rowell. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Fernando Morientes ran back to his position shaking his head. 46 minutes into the match, FC Tarragona 2006's Fernando Morientes sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Donny Rowell narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 48 minutes had been played when some careless play by Crystal Phallus's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Frutos Bouzon was slow to take the kick. During this time FC Tarragona 2006's players had a chance to rest. At last the ball reached Aranguiz Cacheres at the corner, ending with a kick to difficult to stop for the goalkeeper of Crystal Phallus. 0-1. The Crystal Phallus players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. FC Tarragona 2006 were winning 0-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Franz Clifton to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 57th minute, a hard, long distance shot from Lamine Jamal hit the top of the crossbar and flew over the goal. Fernando Morientes's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 61stth minute, Donny Rowell skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Donny Rowell didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Fernando Morientes went, in the 67th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Donny Rowell made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ansu Fatić in the 77th minute of play. In the 78th minute Ansu Fatić shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Donny Rowell saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 79th minute, Franz Clifton hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 80th minute, Ansu Fatić managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Tarragona 2006's supporters rose to their feet, but Ansu Fatić was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Donny Rowell breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Donny Rowell made an important save on a dangerous shot by Lamine Jamal in the 84th minute. Ansu Fatić recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 89th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 95 minutes into the match, Crystal Phallus's goal looked a bit too open when Ansu Fatić came free, but Donny Rowell reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. FC Tarragona 2006's Ansu Fatić was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 97th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. FC Tarragona 2006 walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
