The corner was taken by Frutos Bouzon in the 10th minute. A nice corner shot did that Frutos Bouzon got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Muamer Fahrić quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. FC Tarragona 2006's Feliciano Manrique played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Myles Guy in the 13th minute of play. In the 14th minute of the match Gondor FC™ got a corner. FC Tarragona 2006's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Nedžo Jevtić ran over to the corner to take the kick. Thomas Rogne made in the 17th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Myles Guy. In the 19th minute Fernando Morientes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Muamer Fahrić saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 19 minutes into the match, Gondor FC™'s goal looked a bit too open when Fernando Morientes came free, but Muamer Fahrić reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Feliciano Manrique took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mino Suarez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 27 minutes had been played when some careless play by Gondor FC™'s defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Frutos Bouzon was slow to take the kick. During this time FC Tarragona 2006's players had a chance to rest. Frutos Bouzon made a great header on FC Tarragona 2006's corner, it was just that Gondor FC™'s Muamer Fahrić managed to reach the ball for a save. Feliciano Manrique made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Saša Daničić in the 33rd minute of play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Fernando Morientes stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 58 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Gondor FC™! 64 minutes into the match, FC Tarragona 2006's goal looked a bit too open when Mino Suarez came free, but Feliciano Manrique reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mino Suarez in the 64th minute of play forced FC Tarragona 2006's goalkeeper Feliciano Manrique to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Feliciano Manrique prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Mino Suarez in the 75th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Feliciano Manrique saved FC Tarragona 2006 from getting behind. When Fernando Morientes came up free with the goalie in the 77th minute, the FC Tarragona 2006 fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fernando Morientes couldn't finish the play. FC Tarragona 2006's Quirze Vera was substituted for Frutos Bouzon. Gondor FC™'s Dalibor Kaplanović was substituted for Mino Suarez. In the 85th minute, Gondor FC™'s Dalibor Kaplanović dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-1. In the 97th minute FC Tarragona 2006 were awarded a corner. Alberto Nóbrega went to the cornerflag to take it. 99 minutes into the match, Gondor FC™'s goal looked a bit too open when Ansu Fatić came free, but Muamer Fahrić reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 100th minute FC Tarragona 2006 were awarded a corner. Alberto Nóbrega went to the cornerflag to take it. After taking down the ball on FC Tarragona 2006's corner Alberto Nóbrega fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Muamer Fahrić quite easily take care of the ball. FC Tarragona 2006 were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Gondor FC™ for a fine match.
