Kristian Ottaway started the match with the kick off. With an all-out effort, Bergamim F.C.'s Sofoklis Prinianakis threw himself towards the right post 2 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Claudinei Peixoto, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. 4 minutes into the match, Henley on Thames United's goalkeeper Sofoklis Prinianakis had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Claudinei Peixoto. Henley on Thames United's Sofoklis Prinianakis proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 8th minute of the match, managed to save Henley on Thames United from getting a goal against them. Sofoklis Prinianakis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lando Guazo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Lando Guazo made a great header on Bergamim F.C.'s corner, it was just that Henley on Thames United's Sofoklis Prinianakis managed to reach the ball for a save. Sofoklis Prinianakis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Claudinei Peixoto in the 17th minute of play. Bergamim F.C.'s Didi de Moraes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kristian Ottaway in the 27th minute of play. 29 minutes into the match, Henley on Thames United's goal looked a bit too open when Lando Guazo came free, but Sofoklis Prinianakis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the Henley on Thames United defense, Lando Guazo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Sofoklis Prinianakis. The Henley on Thames United fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Sofoklis Prinianakis should have stopped the shot. Sofoklis Prinianakis stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Claudinei Peixoto's shot from short distance in the 35th minute. In the last second Sofoklis Prinianakis throw himself and got hold of the ball when Claudinei Peixoto in the 35thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. Edgar Iovanovici struck a weak shot in the 38th minute. Didi de Moraes didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Henley on Thames United. Bergamim F.C.'s Didi de Moraes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kristian Ottaway in the 40th minute of play. 43 minutes into the match, Bergamim F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Kristian Ottaway came free, but Didi de Moraes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Claudinei Peixoto was the one to do the kick off. After 57 played minutes Bergamim F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Hélio Lucas. Didi de Moraes made an important save on a dangerous shot by Grant Sherwood in the 59th minute. After 70 played minutes Bergamim F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Leonidas Alejo. In the 73rd minute, Bergamim F.C.'s Angelo Loureiro seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Angelo Loureiro the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Bergamim F.C. protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Angelo Loureiro had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In a very dangerous position, a player in Bergamim F.C. fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 72nd minute. Penalty! In the 76th minute, Edgar Iovanovici hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Sofoklis Prinianakis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lando Guazo, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. In the 83rd minute, Kristian Ottaway left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Henley on Thames United fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2. Henley on Thames United's Sofoklis Prinianakis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lando Guazo in the 90th minute of play. In the 90th minute, Lando Guazo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Sofoklis Prinianakis was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-2. In the 93rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Henley on Thames United's goalkeeper Sofoklis Prinianakis, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Lando Guazo kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. Henley on Thames United's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
