Sakis Kaladosis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bater Palma in the 13th minute of the match. Sakis Kaladosis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bater Palma, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 17th minute, Leonel Martins hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 19th minute, Reynardo Lloredo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Flavinho Reis was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. In the 25th minute of the match, 于永风 tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Flavinho Reis saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Flavinho Reis made a fantastic save in the 27th minute, when Reynardo Lloredo sent off a good shot on target. In the 28th minute of the match, Epeios Solomos got a very nice opportunity to score, but Flavinho Reis was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bater Palma in the 37th minute of play forced Aek athens's goalkeeper Sakis Kaladosis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Epeios Solomos could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 39th minute of the match, but Flavinho Reis made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Reynardo Lloredo in the 40th minute of play forced CE LAJEADENSE RS's goalkeeper Flavinho Reis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, CE LAJEADENSE RS's Flavinho Reis got control of the ball when Epeios Solomos tried to sneak it across the goal line. 47 minutes into the match, Aek athens's goal looked a bit too open when Aloísio Donato came free, but Sakis Kaladosis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Epeios Solomos stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Flavinho Reis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Iphiklos Bentihavas, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. After a rather tough play, CE LAJEADENSE RS's Leo Iigo got a free kick in the 54th minute. 56 minutes into the match, 于永风 had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Flavinho Reis. CE LAJEADENSE RS's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that 于永风 was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. After a rather tough play, CE LAJEADENSE RS's Bater Palma got a free kick in the 59th minute. After some careless play in the CE LAJEADENSE RS defense, 于永风 kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Flavinho Reis. The CE LAJEADENSE RS fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Flavinho Reis should have stopped the shot. When the match had gone on for 70 minutes, Reynardo Lloredo put it in 4-0 from a short distance just to the right of Flavinho Reis. For all the effort they put into the match, the CE LAJEADENSE RS players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Aek athens.
