In the 15th minute of the game Slawomir Fujara made a throw-in which Pavlos Belesis played forward. 17 minutes into the match, Besim Vecdet notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of DaLian MyLord FC's Neal Wakefield. Neal Wakefield was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. DaLian MyLord FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Besim Vecdet was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. DaLian MyLord FC's Neal Wakefield played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Besim Vecdet in the 41st minute of play. DaLian MyLord FC's 周文政 managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Slawomir Fujara in the 44 minute of the game. Gottfrid Hedström took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alejandro Papaggelatos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Alejandro Papaggelatos got free with Gottfrid Hedström in the 47th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Neal Wakefield made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Besim Vecdet in the 52nd minute of play. Besim Vecdet sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Besim Vecdet could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 54th minute of the match, but Neal Wakefield made a huge save. DaLian MyLord FC's 吴梁诚 was substituted for 高思岩.
