When the match had gone on for 5 minutes, Örjan Björkdahl put it in 1-0 from a short distance just to the right of Olgierd Walczak. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Örjan Björkdahl in the 14th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Olgierd Walczak prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Örjan Björkdahl in the 18th minute of play forced Fcion C.A.'s goalkeeper Olgierd Walczak to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Örjan Björkdahl could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 20th minute of the match, but Olgierd Walczak made a huge save. The supporters of Fcion C.A. booed when PALMEIRAS CE - DMZ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ademar Rodrigues didn't get a good kick on the ball. PALMEIRAS CE - DMZ's John Osomo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ahmet Gündüz Yalavaç in the 22nd minute of play. John Osomo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ahmet Gündüz Yalavaç, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ahmet Gündüz Yalavaç in the 23rd minute of play forced PALMEIRAS CE - DMZ's goalkeeper John Osomo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 26 minutes into the match, Örjan Björkdahl had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Olgierd Walczak. Fcion C.A.'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Örjan Björkdahl was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. The audience was convinced that Benjamim Rollheiser's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but John Osomo was relentless in the 33rd minute of the game. After a defensive mix-up in Fcion C.A.'s zone, Örjan Björkdahl stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Olgierd Walczak came out of the goal and Örjan Björkdahl tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Örjan Björkdahl in the 58th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Olgierd Walczak saved Fcion C.A. from getting behind. João Arruda charged in rather forcefully in the 59th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed João Arruda the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, PALMEIRAS CE - DMZ's João Arruda got a free kick in the 60th minute. John Osomo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ahmet Gündüz Yalavaç in the 60th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Örjan Björkdahl in the 62nd minute of play forced Fcion C.A.'s goalkeeper Olgierd Walczak to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fcion C.A.'s Olgierd Walczak played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Matías Azevedo in the 86th minute of play. PALMEIRAS CE - DMZ's John Osomo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 88th minute of the match, managed to save PALMEIRAS CE - DMZ from getting a goal against them. John Osomo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ahmet Gündüz Yalavaç in the 90th minute. John Osomo was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Ahmet Gündüz Yalavaç showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-3 in the 95 minute of play. Fcion C.A. played a much better game than PALMEIRAS CE - DMZ and deserved their victory. The PALMEIRAS CE - DMZ players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
