With a couple of smart ball manuevers Emanuele Morelli in the 3rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg John Osomo saved PALMEIRAS CE - DMZ from getting behind. Clarence Seedorf received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. Fabiano Rago tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Fabiano Rago stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Örjan Björkdahl's shot from short distance in the 13th minute. Fabiano Rago showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Örjan Björkdahl, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. A collision led to LIVIOFOREVER getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Moisés Schmidt hit a great ball. Fabiano Rago took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Örjan Björkdahl, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. But to his dismay, Örjan Björkdahl quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. 32 minutes into the game, Örjan Björkdahl cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Fabiano Rago was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 35th minute of the match João Arruda sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Fabiano Rago skillfully saved the ball. 36 minutes into the match, PALMEIRAS CE - DMZ's goalkeeper John Osomo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Giancarlo Antognoni. 37 minutes into the match, LIVIOFOREVER's goal looked a bit too open when Örjan Björkdahl came free, but Fabiano Rago reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 51 minutes into the match, Örjan Björkdahl had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Fabiano Rago. LIVIOFOREVER's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Örjan Björkdahl was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-5. PALMEIRAS CE - DMZ's John Osomo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Giuliano Galfrè in the 57th minute of play. LIVIOFOREVER were awarded a corner in the 58th minute after PALMEIRAS CE - DMZ's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Concetto Tacconelli took the corner. Fabiano Rago showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Örjan Björkdahl, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. After 62 minutes of play, LIVIOFOREVER's Giancarlo Antognoni made it 1-6 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. John Osomo was left in no man's land by his defense there! John Osomo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Carmine Milani in the 68th minute of play. PALMEIRAS CE - DMZ made a substitution. With a little luck, LIVIOFOREVER's Fabiano Rago got control of the ball when Matías Azevedo tried to sneak it across the goal line. The PALMEIRAS CE - DMZ supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing PALMEIRAS CE - DMZ would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
