Mike Cai's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Benny Stolpe read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 10th minute of play. Freddy Basajauns short, quick shot in the 11thth minute got 任博银 to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 14th minute, Joinville S.German-FSCMZ's Freddy Basajaun dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. 17 minutes into the match, Freddy Basajaun dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of 任博银, 2-0. 任博银 made an important save on a dangerous shot by Freddy Basajaun in the 22nd minute. 任博银 was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Freddy Basajaun showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 3-0 in the 24 minute of play. 任博银 was a little too slow when Sandro Aguiar got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 27th minute. Freddy Basajaun might have been able to make a better finish in the 62nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over 任博银. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out.
