Jairo de Azevedo's late challenge caught a Alka FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jairo de Azevedo helped the player get up and apologised. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

After 52 minutes of play, Villaverde Celeste Clube's Roy Makaay made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Alican Kızıl was left in no man's land by his defense there! After some fancy dribbling in the 59th minute, Roy Makaay managed to get in a good position for a shot. Villaverde Celeste Clube's supporters rose to their feet, but Roy Makaay was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alican Kızıl breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 61st minute Jairo de Azevedo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alican Kızıl saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nenko Reza took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Selahaddin Yalçın, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Roy Makaay could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 65th minute of the match, but Alican Kızıl made a huge save.
