Spectators: 184 (Terracing: 139, Seating: 42, VIP seats: 3) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Guido Vissenaeken started the match with the kick off. Brugge United's Guido Vissenaeken got a good chance for a goal in the 3rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Aristide Mârzac came out of the goal in the 5th minute to try and stop a shot by Brugge United's Guido Vissenaeken. But to his dismay, Guido Vissenaeken quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Aristide Mârzac showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Guido Vissenaeken in the 13th minute of the match. The FC Berea fans' excitement grew in the 15th match minute when FC Berea's Louis Munteanu looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Victor Rotariu made in the 23rd minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Brugge United's Sandro Gaúcho. After 24 played minutes Guido Vissenaeken rounded FC Berea's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 2-1. Aristide Mârzac made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Guido Vissenaeken in the 27th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Guido Vissenaeken in the 29th minute of play forced FC Berea's goalkeeper Aristide Mârzac to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 38 minutes into the match, Guido Vissenaeken notched a goal, 4-1, to the right of FC Berea's Aristide Mârzac. Aristide Mârzac was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 43 minutes into the match, FC Berea's goal looked a bit too open when Guido Vissenaeken came free, but Aristide Mârzac reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 46 minutes into the game, Lion Ernst was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC Berea's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Brugge United the free kick. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 45th minute of the game. One of FC Berea:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Brugge United:s goal. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 4-1 at half-time.

Aristide Mârzac came out of the goal in the 52nd minute to try and stop a shot by Brugge United's Guido Vissenaeken. But to his dismay, Guido Vissenaeken quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-1. When Guido Vissenaeken came up free with the goalie in the 55th minute, the Brugge United fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Guido Vissenaeken couldn't finish the play. After some careless play in the FC Berea defense, Guido Vissenaeken kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Aristide Mârzac. The FC Berea fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Aristide Mârzac should have stopped the shot. When Guido Vissenaeken came up free with the goalie in the 61st minute, the Brugge United fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Guido Vissenaeken couldn't finish the play. Brugge United made a substitution. Arnauld Van Impe replaced Guido Vissenaeken. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Arnauld Van Impe in the 66th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Aristide Mârzac saved FC Berea from getting behind. 68 minutes into the match, Arnauld Van Impe had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Aristide Mârzac. FC Berea's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Arnauld Van Impe was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 7-1. Aristide Mârzac showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arnauld Van Impe in the 71st minute of the match. In the 73rd minute, Arnauld Van Impe ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Aristide Mârzac was frozen by the shot and now it was 8-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arnauld Van Impe in the 78th minute of play forced FC Berea's goalkeeper Aristide Mârzac to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Aristide Mârzac stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Arnauld Van Impe's shot from short distance in the 79th minute. The throw-in from Moise Boacă in the 81st minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Brugge United's Ümit Karan. Aristide Mârzac took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arnauld Van Impe, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Brugge United's Arnauld Van Impe got a good chance for a goal in the 84th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 85th minute, Arnauld Van Impe left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Brugge United fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 9-1. When Brugge United's Arnauld Van Impe in the 88th minute got a chance for a shot 88th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye FC Berea's goalie prevented a goal. In the 89th minute, Arnauld Van Impe ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Aristide Mârzac was frozen by the shot and now it was 10-1. 92 minutes into the match, FC Berea's goal looked a bit too open when Ümit Karan came free, but Aristide Mârzac reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Aristide Mârzac didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Arnauld Van Impe went, in the 94th minute, to the upper right corner, 11-1 was the resulting score. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Brugge United fully deserved thier win.
