Vítor Baia made a fantastic save in the 9th minute, when Luís Gustavo de Amaral sent off a good shot on target. Vítor Baia made an important save on a dangerous shot by Çelikan Unan in the 10th minute. Sandro Gaúcho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Luís Gustavo de Amaral was extremely unlucky when he, in the 46th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. 46 minutes into the match, Brugge United's goal looked a bit too open when Luís Gustavo de Amaral came free, but Vítor Baia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The FC Goodfellas players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Brugge United were winning 0-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Luís Gustavo de Amaral to strike the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Brugge United getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Vítor Baia stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Hubert Pentjärv's shot from short distance in the 71st minute. Jaroslaw Komanski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arnauld Van Impe, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Brugge United's Vítor Baia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hubert Pentjärv in the 79th minute of play. 83 minutes into the match, FC Goodfellas's goalkeeper Jaroslaw Komanski had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Arnauld Van Impe. Hubert Pentjärv recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 86th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jüri Ääremaa hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Arnauld Van Impe got free with Jaroslaw Komanski in the 90th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.
