Nico Van Meerbek showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marciano Caton, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. Kirk Powderham scored 1-0 in the 10th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Roberto-Carlos Abbondanzieri, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The supporters of Brakkies New Bastards booed when Club Atlético Escocia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Venancio Mikolas didn't get a good kick on the ball. Nico Van Meerbek showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marciano Caton, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. Roberto-Carlos Abbondanzieri made a fantastic save in the 27th minute, when Kirk Powderham sent off a good shot on target. In the 32nd minute Marciano Caton shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nico Van Meerbek saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nico Van Meerbek showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Anastasio Gagriel in the 37th minute of the match. Roberto-Carlos Abbondanzieri showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Freddy de Cijser in the 43rd minute of the match. In the 45th minute of the match Brakkies New Bastards got a corner. Club Atlético Escocia's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Daniel Reijniers ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Daniel Reijniers almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Club Atlético Escocia's Roberto-Carlos Abbondanzieri did a great save. Fergus León tried in the 45th minute to hit away a contribution but miss-kicked the ball which ended up in his own goal and left an unhappy Roberto-Carlos Abbondanzieri a with quite unnecessary self made goal. Result 2-0. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Marciano Caton was the one to do the kick off. Kirk Powderham fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Roberto-Carlos Abbondanzieri having to interfere. Anastasio Gagriel kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. Jonas Tauro could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 61st minute of the match, but Nico Van Meerbek made a huge save. Nico Van Meerbek was a little too slow when Jonas Tauro got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 61st minute. The score was now 2-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marciano Caton in the 64th minute of play forced Brakkies New Bastards's goalkeeper Nico Van Meerbek to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 65th minute, Freddy de Cijser got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The throw-in from Bart-Jan Leroy in the 88th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Club Atlético Escocia's Mauricio Luken. After 89 minutes, Jonas Tauro mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Club Atlético Escocia and the Brakkies New Bastards players grew even worse after the yellow card. When the match had gone on for 92 minutes, Jonas Tauro took a quick shot and it went in 3-2 without a chance for Nico Van Meerbek to make any attempt to save it. Roberto-Carlos Abbondanzieri showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Robben Kints in the 94th minute of the match. Brakkies New Bastards's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
