Kurtuluş Ünlü showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tomás Turban in the 46th minute of the match. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Metehan Kurboga was the one to do the kick off. 50 minutes into the match, Under 18 Universe's goal looked a bit too open when Wilson Guerra came free, but Kurtuluş Ünlü reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 52 minutes had been played when some careless play by Under 18 Universe's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Haroldo Nazario was slow to take the kick. During this time Atlético de Blumenau's players had a chance to rest. A well-hit corner resulted in Gecel Silva heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. With a little luck, Atlético de Blumenau's Murillo Peixoto got control of the ball when Cahit Atik tried to sneak it across the goal line. 75 minutes into the match, Under 18 Universe's goal looked a bit too open when Amedeo Mameli came free, but Kurtuluş Ünlü reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 80 minutes into the game, Atlético de Blumenau's Amedeo Mameli nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Kurtuluş Ünlü made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. Under 18 Universe's Kurtuluş Ünlü played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Amedeo Mameli in the 89th minute of play. Amedeo Mameli might have been able to make a better finish in the 91st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Kurtuluş Ünlü. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Amedeo Mameli ran back to his position shaking his head.
