Eleuterio Galo started the match with the kick off. A collision led to Santos City getting a freekick after 4 minutes play. Aílton de Barros hit a great ball. Rogelio Aurken took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fidel Jokin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The crowd rose to their feet as Valério Galvão kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Gervasio Ixaka. That made the score 1-0 in the 9 minute of play. Vipos FC's Gervasio Ixaka proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 19th minute of the match, managed to save Vipos FC from getting a goal against them. Vipos FC's Gervasio Ixaka played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Caner Timurhan in the 23rd minute of play. Wander de Carvalho hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. Gervasio Ixaka made a fantastic save in the 27th minute, when Adilson Andrade sent off a good shot on target. Rogelio Aurken took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Miguel Castanheira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gervasio Ixaka showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Caco Dionísio in the 32nd minute of the match. Adilson Andrade could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 36th minute of the match, but Gervasio Ixaka made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Caner Timurhan in the 43rd minute of play forced Vipos FC's goalkeeper Gervasio Ixaka to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 44th minute, Silvinho Furtado hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Valério Galvão during the 47th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 47 played minutes Santos City got a freekick which was hit by Valério Galvão. Vipos FC made a substitution. Mayer Candelo replaced Miguel Castanheira. In the 50th minute Fidel Jokin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rogelio Aurken saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Fidel Jokin stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Valério Galvão kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. In the 58th minute Caner Timurhan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gervasio Ixaka saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Adilson Andrade in the 59th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gervasio Ixaka prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Andrézinho Severo kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. Mayer Candelo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rogelio Aurken having to interfere. In the 69th minute, Santos City's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Rafa Santos Borré fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Santos City's Rogelio Aurken proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 77th minute of the match, managed to save Santos City from getting a goal against them. 78 minutes into the match, Vipos FC's goal looked a bit too open when Adilson Andrade came free, but Gervasio Ixaka reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
