Hristofor Botzov tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 范洲剑 fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hristofor Botzov having to interfere. In the 28th minute of the match, Eduard Helbling tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but 倪德景 saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 42nd minute, 范洲剑 got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Bilyan Baykov made in the 44th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Eduard Helbling immediately put the ball in play.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Slavi Svilarov to make the kick off.
