Spectators: 165 (Terracing: 124, Seating: 38, VIP seats: 3) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Xavier Goossens kicked off to start the match. The supporters of SK Gullegem booed when PEÑAROL PIPERO was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 2 match minutes in a wonderful position. Szczepan Bucyki didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Agustín Alvarez in the 8th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Urmas Känsäkangas saved SK Gullegem from getting behind. When the match clock showed 8 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Agustín Alvarez sped through SK Gullegem's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Urmas Känsäkangas. Urmas Känsäkangas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Agustín Alvarez in the 12th minute of play. Oscar Ferro made a fantastic save in the 13th minute, when Bram Jamieson sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Xavier Goossens in the 18th minute of play forced PEÑAROL PIPERO's goalkeeper Oscar Ferro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 26 minutes into the match, Mathias-Alexander Jamieson dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Oscar Ferro, 1-2. 28 minutes into the match, PEÑAROL PIPERO's goal looked a bit too open when Mathias-Alexander Jamieson came free, but Oscar Ferro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Agustín Alvarez in the 36th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Urmas Känsäkangas prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Agustín Alvarez recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 42nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 43rd minute, Agustín Alvarez made a precise shot to the right of Urmas Känsäkangas. SK Gullegem's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-3. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Marcelo Zalayeta during the 46th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 47 played minutes PEÑAROL PIPERO got a freekick which was hit by Marcelo Zalayeta. After the first half PEÑAROL PIPERO were leading 1-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Agustín Alvarez made a kick off. Urmas Känsäkangas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Agustín Alvarez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. PEÑAROL PIPERO's Oscar Ferro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mathias-Alexander Jamieson in the 53rd minute of play. After 53 minutes, Mathias-Alexander Jamieson made it 2-3 with a short kick to the right side. PEÑAROL PIPERO's Oscar Ferro tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Oscar Ferro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Xavier Goossens, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Szczepan Bucyki lost his temper 62 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. PEÑAROL PIPERO's Millrick Portanares was substituted for Martinez Somellero. In a very dangerous position, a player in PEÑAROL PIPERO fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 61st minute. Penalty! PEÑAROL PIPERO:s Oscar Ferro showed great skill when he stopped Louis Jamieson:s penalty. Cruz Rabanera sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 67th minute, Mathias-Alexander Jamieson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 68th minute, Cruz Rabanera managed to get in a good position for a shot. PEÑAROL PIPERO's supporters rose to their feet, but Cruz Rabanera was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Urmas Känsäkangas breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. PEÑAROL PIPERO's Oscar Ferro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Xavier Goossens in the 70th minute of play. In the 71st match minute, SK Gullegem was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Otto Nørlinger to maneuver through the defense. In the 76th minute, Mathias-Alexander Jamieson made a precise shot to the right of Oscar Ferro. PEÑAROL PIPERO's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-3. The corner ended in Bianco Florio almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but SK Gullegem's Urmas Känsäkangas did a great save. Cruz Rabanera in the 82ndth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Urmas Känsäkangas, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. 83 minutes into the game, Xavier Goossens cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-3. Oscar Ferro was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. A collision led to SK Gullegem getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Benedicto Atarratze hit a great ball. Oscar Ferro came out of the goal in the 96th minute to try and stop a shot by SK Gullegem's Mathias-Alexander Jamieson. But to his dismay, Mathias-Alexander Jamieson quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-4. SK Gullegem's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
