Mateo Santana stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Sebastian Percival's shot from short distance in the 20th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Duendes Verdes's zone, Sebastian Percival stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mateo Santana came out of the goal and Sebastian Percival tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience was convinced that Sebastian Percival's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Mateo Santana was relentless in the 26th minute of the game. Dušan Ančic showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Teofilo Gipuzkoa, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. 33 minutes into the match, Sebastian Percival notched a goal, 0-4, to the right of Duendes Verdes's Mateo Santana. Mateo Santana was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Mateo Santana showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sebastian Percival in the 37th minute of the match. Sebastian Percival scored 0-5 in the 37th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Mateo Santana, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Mateo Santana showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pastor Eufemio in the 45th minute of the match. Sebastian Percival received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Mateo Santana tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mateo Santana was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-7. 55 minutes into the match, Duendes Verdes's goal looked a bit too open when Spike Foley came free, but Mateo Santana reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Devon Howson could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 56th minute of the match, but Mateo Santana made a huge save. Dušan Ančic stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Teofilo Gipuzkoa's shot from short distance in the 58th minute. In the 58thth minute of the game Teofilo Gipuzkoa who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Club Atlético de Newell's Dušan Ančic was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 59 played minutes Sebastian Percival could catch the ball where he stood relatively free a bit outside the goal and without hesitation he completed 0-8 into the left cross. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Sebastian Percival in the 66th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Mateo Santana saved Duendes Verdes from getting behind. The crowd rose to their feet as Sebastian Percival kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Mateo Santana. That made the score 0-10 in the 73 minute of play. After 81st play minutes Sebastian Percival shot 0-11, a short shot which went by Mateo Santana and just under the crossbar into goal. 83 minutes into the game, Devon Howson cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-12. Mateo Santana was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. If Devon Howson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute.
