The audience was convinced that Hermengildo Cordeara's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Tobias Moerman was relentless in the 6th minute of the game. Hermengildo Cordeara fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tobias Moerman having to interfere. Tobias Moerman was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Hermengildo Cordeara showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 12 minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Aurelio Salbatore during the 15th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to NEWELL´S OLD BOYS getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Aurelio Salbatore hit a great ball. In the 18th minute of the match Dutch Rebels got a corner. NEWELL´S OLD BOYS's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Geoffry Borginions ran over to the corner to take the kick. 19 minutes into the match, Dutch Rebels's goalkeeper Tobias Moerman had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Vinicio Walme. Tobias Moerman made an important save on a dangerous shot by Leo Lore in the 21st minute. 23 minutes into the match, Leo Lore had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Tobias Moerman. Dutch Rebels's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Leo Lore was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. 26 minutes into the match, Leo Lore notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of Dutch Rebels's Tobias Moerman. Tobias Moerman was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Tobias Moerman was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Leo Lore showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 5-0 in the 36 minute of play. 41 minutes into the match, Dutch Rebels's goal looked a bit too open when Conrado Lluciano came free, but Tobias Moerman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 43 minutes into the match, NEWELL´S OLD BOYS's goal looked a bit too open when Geoffry Borginions came free, but 俞锋烽 reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Yens Iansens was the one to do the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leo Lore in the 51st minute of play forced Dutch Rebels's goalkeeper Tobias Moerman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tobias Moerman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leo Lore in the 55th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hermengildo Cordeara in the 58th minute of play forced Dutch Rebels's goalkeeper Tobias Moerman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Vinicio Walme fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tobias Moerman having to interfere. Conrado Lluciano scored 7-0 in the 61st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Tobias Moerman, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Hermengildo Cordeara in the 67th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tobias Moerman saved Dutch Rebels from getting behind. 68 minutes into the match, Dutch Rebels's goal looked a bit too open when Vinicio Walme came free, but Tobias Moerman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Hermengildo Cordeara fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tobias Moerman having to interfere. Adolf Cappelsmans recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 74th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 77 minutes into the game, Stan Lefevere was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Dutch Rebels's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave NEWELL´S OLD BOYS the free kick. The supporters of NEWELL´S OLD BOYS booed when Dutch Rebels was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Stan Lefevere didn't get a good kick on the ball. 俞锋烽 made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adolf Cappelsmans in the 80th minute of play. Hermengildo Cordeara fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tobias Moerman having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Leo Lore in the 92nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tobias Moerman prevented the ball from getting in the gole. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. NEWELL´S OLD BOYS had played much better football throughout.
