But to his dismay, Hermengildo Cordeara quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Leo Lore fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without 陆文泉 having to interfere. After 32 played minutes LOS TRIPODES got a freekick which was hit by Leonardo Ortzi. If Leonardo Ortzi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Kang Zhen Wei sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 37th minute, Severo Raymundo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 俞锋烽 was out of position in the 40 minute of play, and Severo Raymundo capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Severo Raymundo really showed his touch with that goal: 1-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Severo Raymundo was the one to do the kick off. NEWELL´S OLD BOYS's Hermengildo Cordeara got a good chance for a goal in the 57th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The supporters of LOS TRIPODES booed when NEWELL´S OLD BOYS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vinicio Walme didn't get a good kick on the ball.
