The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 7 minutes of play, Dionisia's Arnaldo Beturian made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Hoàng Tran was left in no man's land by his defense there! A collision led to Dionisia getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Lucio Garoa hit a great ball. Arnaldo Beturian took the ball and in the 12 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Hoàng Tran. Hoàng Tran dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Denis Ereinotz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Hoàng Tran tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Dionisia's Arnaldo Beturian in the 26th minute got a chance for a shot 26th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Nguyễn Thanh didn't get a good kick on the ball. FC Dalin's Hoàng Tran played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arnaldo Beturian in the 36th minute of play. In the 37th minute, Arnaldo Beturian ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Hoàng Tran was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. A sloppy throw-in by Nguyễn Thanh in the 47th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Dionisia's Aquilino Piearres. Arnaldo Beturian might have been able to make a better finish in the 48th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Hoàng Tran. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Arnaldo Beturian ran back to his position shaking his head. Hoàng Tran showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arnaldo Beturian in the 48th minute of the match. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Arnaldo Beturian made a kick off. Lucio Garoa charged in rather forcefully in the 54th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Lucio Garoa the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 54 played minutes Dionisia got a freekick which was hit by Lucio Garoa. Aquiles Senio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Phạm Nguyet, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. In the 83rd minute, Dionisia's Peng Sha Yang ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Hoàng Tran. Hoàng Tran yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-4. In the 88th minute, Melchor Gregory got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With a little luck, FC Dalin's Hoàng Tran got control of the ball when Florencio Chano tried to sneak it across the goal line. Hoàng Tran made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Melchor Gregory in the 92nd minute of play. FC Dalin's Hoàng Tran proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 94th minute of the match, managed to save FC Dalin from getting a goal against them. 95 minutes into the match, FC Dalin's goal looked a bit too open when Peng Sha Yang came free, but Hoàng Tran reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
