After some fancy dribbling in the 37th minute, Cruz Credo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Maravilla's supporters rose to their feet, but Cruz Credo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Haroldas Strazdas breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Maravilla's Mohamed Salah was substituted for Patricio Servando. The crowd rose to their feet as Hugo Guerra kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Jeronimo Gines. That made the score 2-0 in the 39 minute of play. The supporters of Maravilla booed when Spartans FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Amado Dagorret didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Spartans FC's zone, Cruz Credo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Haroldas Strazdas came out of the goal and Cruz Credo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.

The wind increased when Cruz Credo made the kick off in the second half. Jeronimo Gines took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hugo Guerra, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jeronimo Gines showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hugo Guerra in the 54th minute of the match. Cruz Credo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Spartans FC's Haroldas Strazdas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cruz Credo in the 61st minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Hugo Guerra in the 64th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jeronimo Gines saved Maravilla from getting behind. Haroldas Strazdas made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mohamed Salah in the 66th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mohamed Salah got free with Haroldas Strazdas in the 66th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 67th minute, César de Senna hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 69th minute Hugo Guerra shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jeronimo Gines saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 86 played minutes Spartans FC got a freekick which was hit by Amado Dagorret. Amado Dagorret kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. Haroldas Strazdas made a fantastic save in the 90th minute, when Mohamed Salah sent off a good shot on target. If Hugo Guerra had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute.
