Edvaldo Gaspar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Winarto Songgonau in the 4th minute of the match. Anversa Club's Waut Van Der Meeren played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pasha Datsiuk in the 6th minute of play. In the 7th minute Pasha Datsiuk shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Waut Van Der Meeren saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 8th minute, Nestor Cruz made a precise shot to the right of Edvaldo Gaspar. Frenchville Sports Club's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. If Pasha Datsiuk had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 15th minute, Arnoud Rouvoet hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Anversa Club's Waut Van Der Meeren proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 23rd minute of the match, managed to save Anversa Club from getting a goal against them. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Pasha Datsiuk in the 25th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Waut Van Der Meeren prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Waut Van Der Meeren took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Quincy Slattery, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 32nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Anversa Club's goalkeeper Waut Van Der Meeren, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 33 minutes into the match, Pasha Datsiuk notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Anversa Club's Waut Van Der Meeren. Waut Van Der Meeren was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 35 minutes into the match, Frenchville Sports Club's goal looked a bit too open when Winarto Songgonau came free, but Edvaldo Gaspar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Burt Gruer helped the player get up and apologised. In the 92nd match minute, Frenchville Sports Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Burt Gruer to maneuver through the defense. The long shot by Olliver Bautmans in the 92nd minute really tested Edvaldo Gaspar's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal.
