A nice corner shot did that Loren Eaton got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Waut Van Der Meeren quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nestor Cruz couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Basilio Manny in the 55th minute of play forced Anversa Club's goalkeeper Waut Van Der Meeren to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
