Luuk Meppelink was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. 8 minutes into the match, Bram Elsen notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Zijdewind SC's Luuk Meppelink. Luuk Meppelink was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Luuk Meppelink made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bram Elsen in the 14th minute of play. In the 18th minute, real dixmuda's Patrik De Raedemaecker ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Luuk Meppelink. Luuk Meppelink yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-0. Bram Elsen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Bram Elsen succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 4-0 in the 27th playminute. Luuk Meppelink made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bram Elsen in the 30th minute of play. In the 35th minute of the match real dixmuda got a corner. Zijdewind SC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Jordy Van Den Bosche ran over to the corner to take the kick. In the 38th minute, real dixmuda's Willem-Alexander Candries dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 6-0. In the 40th minute, Jordy Van Den Bosche hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Luuk Meppelink was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Bram Elsen showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 7-0 in the 46 minute of play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 7-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Bram Elsen to strike the kick off in the second half. 7-1 became the score in the 52nd minute when Damien Schimmel elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. When Sjors Hoekstra fell near the penalty area in the 54th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Zijdewind SC's protests and gave Sjors Hoekstra a yellow card for diving instead. After 57 played minutes Zijdewind SC got a freekick which was hit by Daniël De Leeuw. Jordy Van Den Bosche struck a weak shot in the 58th minute. Luuk Meppelink didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for real dixmuda. 60 minutes into the match, Bram Elsen notched a goal, 8-1, to the right of Zijdewind SC's Luuk Meppelink. Luuk Meppelink was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Jorre De Hondt scored 9-1 in the 63rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Luuk Meppelink, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Patrik De Raedemaecker in the 79th minute of play forced Zijdewind SC's goalkeeper Luuk Meppelink to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jordy Van Den Bosche went to the cornerflag to take it. The throw-in from Sipke Kroon in the 88th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by real dixmuda's Willem-Alexander Candries. Bram Elsen's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Luuk Meppelink read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 88th minute of play. Luuk Meppelink made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jordy Van Den Bosche in the 90th minute of play. With 93 minutes on the clock, Giovanni Buskermolen commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. After a rather tough play, Zijdewind SC's Giovanni Buskermolen got a free kick in the 93rd minute. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. real dixmuda fully deserved thier win.
