Club Deportivo Español's Turgut Talha played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Judas Verón in the 6th minute of play. 14 minutes into the match, Belgrano de Pibasog's goalkeeper Bernardo Raggio had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Vacid Nefer. Judas Verón sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Judas Verón in the 16th minute of play forced Club Deportivo Español's goalkeeper Turgut Talha to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Matias Chayo got free with Bernardo Raggio in the 22nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Vacid Nefer scored 1-1 in the 35th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Bernardo Raggio, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 38th minute, Judas Verón ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Turgut Talha was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. In the 41st minute Judas Verón shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Turgut Talha saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 43 minutes into the match, Club Deportivo Español's goal looked a bit too open when Judas Verón came free, but Turgut Talha reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Belgrano de Pibasog getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Clemente Gaizkine hit a great ball. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

Turgut Talha took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Silvio Abadia, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Judas Verón recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 54th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Judas Verón's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Turgut Talha read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 58th minute of play. With a little luck, Club Deportivo Español's Turgut Talha got control of the ball when Judas Verón tried to sneak it across the goal line. Judas Verón kicked a quick shot right in front of the goal in the 60thth minute. Though ot was a great shot Club Deportivo Español's keeper Turgut Talha was sill able to block leaving the score board unchanged. In the 61st match minute, Club Deportivo Español was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Joaquin Hug to maneuver through the defense. Belgrano de Pibasog's Timo Haydon was substituted for Blue Dolar. A collision led to Club Deportivo Español getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Joaquin Hug hit a great ball. In the 65th minute Vacid Nefer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bernardo Raggio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bernardo Raggio stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Vacid Nefer's shot from short distance in the 67th minute. Club Deportivo Español's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Joaquin Hug in the 68th minute. Petrică Bărbulescu made a great header on Club Deportivo Español's corner, it was just that Belgrano de Pibasog's Bernardo Raggio managed to reach the ball for a save. When Vacid Nefer came up free with the goalie in the 74th minute, the Club Deportivo Español fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Vacid Nefer couldn't finish the play. Club Deportivo Español's Turgut Talha proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 77th minute of the match, managed to save Club Deportivo Español from getting a goal against them. Bernardo Raggio didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Vacid Nefer went, in the 79th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-2 was the resulting score. Belgrano de Pibasog made a substitution. Iulian Ilinca replaced Judas Verón. When Belgrano de Pibasog's Iulian Ilinca in the 86th minute got a chance for a shot 86th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. The Club Deportivo Español supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Belgrano de Pibasog's performance. The match ended with a win for Belgrano de Pibasog.
