Club Atletico Fenix's Anders Larsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rodrigo Cidro in the 9th minute of play. Celso Meder recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 11th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 19 minutes into the match, Corsarios del Sur's goal looked a bit too open when Mariano Santiago came free, but Walmir Loureiro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Walmir Loureiro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Celso Meder in the 21st minute of play. The supporters of Club Atletico Fenix booed when Corsarios del Sur was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Conrado Xabel didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 26th minute, Rodrigo Cidro made a precise shot to the right of Anders Larsson. Club Atletico Fenix's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. Walmir Loureiro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Celso Meder in the 28th minute of the match. Walmir Loureiro was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Ezequiel Padro showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-1 in the 32 minute of play. After 36 minutes Club Atletico Fenix's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Eliseo Selmo who took care of the corner kick. Eliseo Selmo made a great header on Corsarios del Sur's corner, it was just that Club Atletico Fenix's Anders Larsson managed to reach the ball for a save. The corner ended in Fabian Arenaza almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Corsarios del Sur's Walmir Loureiro did a great save.
