With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jacobo Lauro in the 8th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Walmir Loureiro saved Corsarios del Sur from getting behind. Corsarios del Sur's Walmir Loureiro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jacobo Lauro in the 10th minute of play. Samuel Damario hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. Walmir Loureiro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jacobo Lauro in the 14th minute of play. The Corsarios del Sur fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Walmir Loureiro should have stopped the shot. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 96 minutes into the match, Corsarios del Sur's goal looked a bit too open when Horacio Francis came free, but Walmir Loureiro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Quilmes played a much better game than Corsarios del Sur and deserved their victory. The Corsarios del Sur players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
