Marco Assendelft started the match with the kick off. Rudolf Meulman didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Rodrigo Cidro went, in the 11th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. After 13 played minutes Corsarios del Sur got a freekick which was hit by Rodrigo Cidro. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marco Assendelft in the 15th minute of play forced Corsarios del Sur's goalkeeper Walmir Loureiro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rudolf Meulman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rodrigo Cidro, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. Marco Assendelft fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Walmir Loureiro having to interfere. Rudolf Meulman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rodrigo Cidro in the 27th minute of the match. When Robert Mos came up free with the goalie in the 28th minute, the De hijgende Hertjes fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Robert Mos couldn't finish the play. Marco Assendelft fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Walmir Loureiro having to interfere. Alex Belém could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 42nd minute of the match, but Walmir Loureiro made a huge save. Marco Assendelft sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 45th minute Marco Assendelft shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Walmir Loureiro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 47th minute, Marco Assendelft reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Walmir Loureiro. The goal made the score 1-2. Corsarios del Sur's Teo Luzaide was substituted for Domingos Frisco. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

The wind increased when Rodrigo Cidro made the kick off in the second half. With 54 minutes on the clock, Atilla Tüzüner commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. 54 minutes into the game, one of De hijgende Hertjes:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The referee gave Corsarios del Sur a penalty, 57 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Conrado Xabel, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of De hijgende Hertjes's Rudolf Meulman. 1-3. Rodrigo Cidro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 59th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Cristoforo Tatangelo hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. In the 71st minute, Mehmet Akif Okutman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a little luck, De hijgende Hertjes's Rudolf Meulman got control of the ball when Rodrigo Cidro tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 85th minute, Marco Assendelft hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Alex Belém hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. Eliseo Selmo kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Corsarios del Sur's zone, Hans Bulder stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Walmir Loureiro came out of the goal and Hans Bulder tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Chants of Corsarios del Sur echoed around the stadium as the match drew to a close. Supporters and players were both delighted with the win, as De hijgende Hertjes had held the ball for most of the match.
