Flancito and the Quilmes players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Quilmes booed when C. A. Flancito was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marcelino Argider didn't get a good kick on the ball. Adan Lartaun made an important save on a dangerous shot by Bayındır Akçalı in the 12th minute. The audience was convinced that Jacobo Lauro's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Felipe Gaitan was relentless in the 15th minute of the game. 17 minutes into the game, Danilo Hats was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Anier Betadur sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Felipe Gaitan didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jacobo Lauro went, in the 25th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. An unexpectedly hard shot by Braulio Barrionuevo in the 28th minute of play forced C. A. Flancito's goalkeeper Felipe Gaitan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 29 played minutes C. A. Flancito got a freekick which was hit by Anier Betadur. In the 30th minute, Jacobo Lauro left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Quilmes fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jacobo Lauro in the 33rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Felipe Gaitan saved C. A. Flancito from getting behind. In the 42nd match minute, Quilmes was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Danilo Hats to maneuver through the defense. In the 44th minute, Jacobo Lauro made a precise shot to the right of Felipe Gaitan. C. A. Flancito's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-5. The C. A. Flancito players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Quilmes were winning 0-5.

After a defensive mix-up in Quilmes's zone, Bayındır Akçalı stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Adan Lartaun came out of the goal and Bayındır Akçalı tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Felipe Gaitan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jacobo Lauro in the 54th minute of the match. A nice corner shot did that Nunez Ceandro got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Felipe Gaitan quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Braulio Barrionuevo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. C. A. Braulio Barrionuevo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 72nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Quilmes made a substitution. Horacio Francis replaced Ismael Dolcet. In the 76th minute, Jacobo Lauro left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. Flancito fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Quilmes were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
