C. A. Flancito's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Natalio Panfilo in the 4th minute. C. A. Flancito's Natalio Panfilo was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Walmir Loureiro in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. 6 minutes into the match, C. A. Flancito's goal looked a bit too open when Rodrigo Cidro came free, but Felipe Gaitan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rodrigo Cidro took the ball and in the 10 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Felipe Gaitan. Felipe Gaitan dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Walmir Loureiro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bayındır Akçalı, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 17 minutes Corsarios del Sur's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Natalio Panfilo who took care of the corner kick. The corner ended in Carlos Enol almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Corsarios del Sur's Walmir Loureiro did a great save. A well-hit corner resulted in Anier Betadur heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. Rene Bertran charged in rather forcefully in the 24th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Rene Bertran the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Rene Bertran kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. 25 minutes into the game, Rodrigo Cidro cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Felipe Gaitan was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The supporters of Corsarios del Sur booed when C. A. Flancito was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bayındır Akçalı didn't get a good kick on the ball. Corsarios del Sur's Walmir Loureiro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anier Betadur in the 35th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Rodrigo Cidro's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Felipe Gaitan was relentless in the 37th minute of the game. Felipe Gaitan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rodrigo Cidro in the 39th minute of the match. Rene Bertran was shown his second yellow card after 43 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. If Rodrigo Cidro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The C. A. Flancito players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Corsarios del Sur were winning 0-2.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Rodrigo Cidro made a kick off. Corsarios del Sur's Walmir Loureiro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nick Clark in the 55th minute of play. In the 56th minute C. A. Flancito were awarded a corner. Natalio Panfilo went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner first didn't look so dangerous but when Cristo Juvenal got the ball he succeeded in some way to get through the defenders to deliver a very hard score. Result 1-2. 57 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rodrigo Cidro in the 59th minute of play forced C. A. Flancito's goalkeeper Felipe Gaitan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 61 played minutes Corsarios del Sur got a freekick which was hit by Ariel Baumer. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Nick Clark during the 63rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, C. A. Flancito's Nick Clark got a free kick in the 63rd minute. Felipe Gaitan made a fantastic save in the 65th minute, when Rodrigo Cidro sent off a good shot on target. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Rodrigo Cidro in the 65th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Felipe Gaitan prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 68 minutes into the game, Corsarios del Sur's Rodrigo Cidro nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Felipe Gaitan made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-4. In the 72nd minute of the match Corsarios del Sur got a corner. C. A. Flancito's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Eliseo Selmo ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Eliseo Selmo got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Felipe Gaitan quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 74th minute, Anier Betadur ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Walmir Loureiro was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-4. A collision led to C. A. Flancito getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Cristo Juvenal hit a great ball. Corsarios del Sur's Eliseo Selmo shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 78th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Felipe Gaitan but with some difficulty. Corsarios del Sur's Eliseo Selmo was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Felipe Gaitan in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. With a little luck, C. A. Flancito's Felipe Gaitan got control of the ball when Rodrigo Cidro tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 90 played minutes Corsarios del Sur got a freekick which was hit by Jonathan Brenner. In the 92nd minute, Corsarios del Sur's Rodrigo Cidro ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Felipe Gaitan. Felipe Gaitan yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-5. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Corsarios del Sur had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
