Emotep SK's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Marcinho de Toledo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Fernanco Muslera made a fantastic save in the 7th minute, when Marcinho de Toledo sent off a good shot on target. Uwe Reimann fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fernanco Muslera having to interfere. Uwe Reimann recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 19th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With an all-out effort, OLIMPIA SP's Fernanco Muslera threw himself towards the right post 24 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Uwe Reimann, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. The supporters of OLIMPIA SP booed when Emotep SK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Çetin Onar didn't get a good kick on the ball. Emotep SK's Fernanco Muslera proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 27th minute of the match, managed to save Emotep SK from getting a goal against them. Ryan Giggs blasted a shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Inge Marin having to make a save. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Uwe Reimann in the 31st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Fernanco Muslera saved Emotep SK from getting behind. In the 35th match minute, OLIMPIA SP was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zé Tinoco to maneuver through the defense. After recieving a nice pass, Emotep SK's Hasan Hüseyin Başol tried to score from far away in the 36th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Uwe Reimann in the 38th minute of play forced Emotep SK's goalkeeper Fernanco Muslera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Inge Marin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ryan Giggs, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. Fernanco Muslera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Uwe Reimann, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. If Uwe Reimann had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Salih Çapan kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. With a little luck, Emotep SK's Fernanco Muslera got control of the ball when Marcinho de Toledo tried to sneak it across the goal line. Fernanco Muslera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Uwe Reimann, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Emotep SK's Fernanco Muslera proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 45th minute of the match, managed to save Emotep SK from getting a goal against them. Fernanco Muslera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Uwe Reimann in the 47th minute of play.

The wind increased when Marcinho de Toledo made the kick off in the second half. After 51 minutes of play, OLIMPIA SP's Marcinho de Toledo made it 4-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Fernanco Muslera was left in no man's land by his defense there! Fernanco Muslera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Uwe Reimann, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 55 minutes into the game, OLIMPIA SP's Marcinho de Toledo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Fernanco Muslera made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-0. 59 minutes into the match, Marcinho de Toledo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Fernanco Muslera. Emotep SK's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Marcinho de Toledo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 6-0. In the 61st minute Uwe Reimann shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fernanco Muslera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Emotep SK's Fernanco Muslera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marcinho de Toledo in the 63rd minute of play. A collision led to Emotep SK getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Ryan Giggs hit a great ball. After 70 played minutes OLIMPIA SP got a freekick which was hit by Uwe Reimann. 72 minutes into the match, Emotep SK's goal looked a bit too open when Ademir Donatello came free, but Fernanco Muslera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Fernanco Muslera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marcinho de Toledo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Uwe Reimann in the 78th minute of play forced Emotep SK's goalkeeper Fernanco Muslera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fernanco Muslera came out of the goal in the 79th minute to try and stop a shot by OLIMPIA SP's Uwe Reimann. But to his dismay, Uwe Reimann quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 8-0. In the 83rd minute Marcinho de Toledo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fernanco Muslera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fernanco Muslera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Uwe Reimann, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. 85 minutes into the match, Emotep SK's goal looked a bit too open when Uwe Reimann came free, but Fernanco Muslera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Fernanco Muslera stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Uwe Reimann's shot from short distance in the 86th minute. Salih Çapan's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Inge Marin read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 88th minute of play. In the 92nd minute, Uwe Reimann made a precise shot to the right of Fernanco Muslera. Emotep SK's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 9-0. Uwe Reimann took the ball and in the 95 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Fernanco Muslera. Fernanco Muslera dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 10-0. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. OLIMPIA SP fully deserved thier win.
