In the 5th minute Jan Zuid shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Semavi Özguven saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the Afyon İdman Yurdu defense, Anacleto Libertad kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Semavi Özguven. The Afyon İdman Yurdu fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Semavi Özguven should have stopped the shot. Semavi Özguven showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Anacleto Libertad, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. In the 12th match minute, Los Guacho Pistola was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Albano Venerando to maneuver through the defense. Jan Zuid scored 0-2 in the 18th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Semavi Özguven, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The audience thought a goal was coming when Oswaldo Dionísio got free with Rodrigo Toribio in the 24th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 25th minute, Los Guacho Pistola's Genaro Franco seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Genaro Franco the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Los Guacho Pistola protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Genaro Franco had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In a very dangerous position, a player in Los Guacho Pistola fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 25th minute. Penalty! The goalkeeper, Rodrigo Toribio, was totally fooled by Afyon İdman Yurdu's Oswaldo Dionísio, who 27 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Semavi Özguven took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vladan Leszczynski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Semavi Özguven came out of the goal in the 36th minute to try and stop a shot by Los Guacho Pistola's Martin Mundo. But to his dismay, Martin Mundo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-4. An unexpectedly hard shot by Anacleto Libertad in the 40th minute of play forced Afyon İdman Yurdu's goalkeeper Semavi Özguven to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Anacleto Libertad made the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, Esteban Criston hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Los Guacho Pistola's Rodrigo Toribio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Oswaldo Dionísio in the 58th minute of play. After some careless play in the Afyon İdman Yurdu defense, Anacleto Libertad kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Semavi Özguven. Rodrigo Toribio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mehmet Fatih Yalım in the 71st minute of play. Rodrigo Toribio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kamer Uram in the 73rd minute of the match. Oswaldo Dionísio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Afyon İdman Yurdu's Ahmet Ozan Kaptan was substituted for Jakub Gonsiewski. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Gazanfer Hiçsönmez during the 82nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 83rd minute, Gazanfer Hiçsönmez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Los Guacho Pistola booed when Afyon İdman Yurdu was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gazanfer Hiçsönmez didn't get a good kick on the ball. Semavi Özguven made an important save on a dangerous shot by Vladan Leszczynski in the 88th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hüsamettin Refi in the 92nd minute of play forced Los Guacho Pistola's goalkeeper Rodrigo Toribio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match was over Los Guacho Pistola could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Afyon İdman Yurdu throughout the match.
