Emil Moryl charged in rather forcefully in the 13th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Emil Moryl the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 14 played minutes Rosenborg got a freekick which was hit by Emil Moryl. After 18 played minutes Rosenborg got a freekick which was hit by Amerigo Rivera. In the 20thth minute of the game Luciano Lluques who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Volvimos mejores's Samuel Asteri was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Xu Xi Pengs short, quick shot in the 23rdth minute got Samuel Asteri to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 26th match minute, Volvimos mejores was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leo Manilan to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Volvimos mejores's zone, Luciano Lluques stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Samuel Asteri came out of the goal and Luciano Lluques tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Luciano Lluques in the 34th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Samuel Asteri saved Volvimos mejores from getting behind. Luciano Lluques was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 36th minute. Rosenborg's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. With an all-out effort, Rosenborg's Samuel Asteri threw himself towards the right post 36 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Luciano Lluques, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 37thth minute of the game Engin Dönmez who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Rosenborg's Cristoforo Morini was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Xu Xi Pengs short, quick shot in the 40thth minute got Samuel Asteri to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. 42 minutes into the match, Rosenborg's goal looked a bit too open when Teodoro Baumar came free, but Cristoforo Morini reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Luciano Lluques fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Samuel Asteri having to interfere. Antonello Desiderio hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. In the 48th minute, Rubén-Darío Insúa ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Cristoforo Morini was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Xu Xi Peng made a kick off. Samuel Asteri stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Luciano Lluques's shot from short distance in the 54th minute. Rosenborg's defense didn't have a chance, in the 58th minute, when Teodoro Baumar scored to the left of an out of position Cristoforo Morini, making the score, 1-2. Rosenborg's Biagio Stellato was substituted for Amerigo Rivera. Engin Dönmez's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 63rdth minute, Cristoforo Morini skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Cristoforo Morini took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Teodoro Baumar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Emil Moryl got his second yellow card in the match during the 69th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. Emil Moryl kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. Rosenborg's Claudio Pani was substituted for Fortunato Zola. Emil Moryl hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. Engin Dönmez could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 74th minute of the match, but Cristoforo Morini made a huge save. The crowd rose to their feet as Teodoro Baumar kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Cristoforo Morini. That made the score 1-3 in the 80 minute of play. Volvimos mejores's Samuel Asteri played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Xu Xi Peng in the 83rd minute of play. A collision led to Rosenborg getting a freekick after 87 minutes play. Antonello Desiderio hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Rosenborg's Antonello Desiderio got a free kick in the 88th minute. After 89 played minutes Rosenborg got a freekick which was hit by Daniele Ramundo. A collision led to Volvimos mejores getting a freekick after 98 minutes play. Leo Manilan hit a great ball. Volvimos mejores played a much better game than Rosenborg and deserved their victory. The Rosenborg players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
