Thanks to some nice moves Di Marinho could shoot a difficult shot in the 26th minute, which Pedro Augusto Salgado however easily saved by the left post. Fellipe Lago recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 31st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Barrenta SC's zone, Vilmos Mester stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Patric Isaksson came out of the goal and Vilmos Mester tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Pedro Augusto Salgado took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nariman Mansourian, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.

Pedro Augusto Salgado showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nariman Mansourian, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. After having played for 53 minutes, Adrián Császár managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. In the 90th minute of the match Luiz Paulo do Valle sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Pedro Augusto Salgado skillfully saved the ball. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Barrenta SC fully deserved thier win.
