The audience thought a goal was coming when Cãtãlin Hâldan got free with Xie Bang Ang in the 20th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Robert Haegg in the 23rd minute of play forced SELEVASCO's goalkeeper Nico Pizzi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Nico Pizzi didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Robert Haegg went, in the 30th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Guaberto Matro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Nico Pizzi came out of the goal in the 34th minute to try and stop a shot by ARedonditos de Ricota CFK's Robert Haegg. But to his dismay, Robert Haegg quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Nico Pizzi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Robert Haegg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Nico Pizzi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Guaberto Matro in the 41st minute of the match. In the 43rd minute Victorino Edorta shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nico Pizzi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. ARedonditos de Ricota CFK were awarded a corner in the 45th minute after SELEVASCO's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Benjy Muller took the corner. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

After some careless play in the SELEVASCO defense, Robert Haegg kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Nico Pizzi. The SELEVASCO fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Nico Pizzi should have stopped the shot. ARedonditos de Ricota CFK's Florentino Berasko was substituted for Robert Haegg. ARedonditos de Ricota CFK's Emilio Gonzales was substituted for Jonas Paz. An unexpectedly hard shot by Xavier Van Dijk in the 67th minute of play forced ARedonditos de Ricota CFK's goalkeeper Xie Bang Ang to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The corner went over the outstretched arms of SELEVASCO's goalie and right to Samuel Vela. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. SELEVASCO's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Florentino Berasko in the 88th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Nico Pizzi saved SELEVASCO from getting behind. Daniel Isăceanu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 90th minute of the match, but Nico Pizzi made a huge save. Nico Pizzi made an important save on a dangerous shot by Florentino Berasko in the 95th minute. When the match was over ARedonditos de Ricota CFK could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than SELEVASCO throughout the match.
