Felix Leoiar made an important save on a dangerous shot by Alfred Babicki in the 9th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jacinto Quiroga in the 38th minute of play forced The Irons Chorzów's goalkeeper Piotr Lech to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Maciej Bartelak made a kick off.
