After 3 minutes of play, Jataiense Futebol Clube's Gualter Gulak made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Damaso Roldanillo was left in no man's land by his defense there! 5 minutes into the match, San Lorenzo's Delmiro Tabor sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Sem Titulescu narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Candido Urbes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Damaso Roldanillo having to interfere. Sem Titulescu was out of position in the 10 minute of play, and Maximino Mazuste capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Maximino Mazuste really showed his touch with that goal: 1-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Candido Urbes in the 13th minute of play forced San Lorenzo's goalkeeper Damaso Roldanillo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Damaso Roldanillo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gualter Gulak, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A nice corner shot did that Jata Goiano got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Damaso Roldanillo quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. After a rather tough play, Jataiense Futebol Clube's Júnior Brena got a free kick in the 20th minute. 22 minutes into the game, Niceto Justin was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. San Lorenzo's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Jataiense Futebol Clube the free kick. In the 22nd minute, Niceto Justin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Candido Urbes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Damaso Roldanillo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Candido Urbes, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 28th minute, Candido Urbes managed to get in a good position for a shot. Jataiense Futebol Clube's supporters rose to their feet, but Candido Urbes was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Damaso Roldanillo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Damaso Roldanillo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Candido Urbes in the 30th minute of the match. When Mabrouk Dolar fell near the penalty area in the 31st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored San Lorenzo's protests and gave Mabrouk Dolar a yellow card for diving instead. Mabrouk Dolar kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. Aldo De la Fuente hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. Jataiense Futebol Clube's Candido Urbes got a good chance for a goal in the 40th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Gualter Gulak received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Damaso Roldanillo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Júnior Brena kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Candido Urbes in the 47th minute of play forced San Lorenzo's goalkeeper Damaso Roldanillo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Maximino Mazuste stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Damaso Roldanillo made a fantastic save in the 53rd minute, when Candido Urbes sent off a good shot on target. In the 54th match minute, San Lorenzo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Freddy Izel to maneuver through the defense. In the 55th minute of the match, Jata Goiano sent away a good long shot that could have become a goal, but Damaso Roldanillo showed an example of his skillful tending and made the save just under the crossbar. Damaso Roldanillo made a fantastic save in the 57th minute, when Candido Urbes sent off a good shot on target. Candido Urbes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Candido Urbes got free with Damaso Roldanillo in the 63rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Candido Urbes could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 71st minute of the match, but Damaso Roldanillo made a huge save. In the 73rd minute the ball was on its way in behind San Lorenzo's goalkeeper Damaso Roldanillo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In a very dangerous position, a player in San Lorenzo fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 75th minute. Penalty! Jataiense Futebol Clube made a substitution. Marián De Bruyne replaced William Mineiro. Damaso Roldanillo stood somewhat misplaced when Candido Urbes came free in front of goal and shot 1-5 to the left of him in the 84 minute. Federico Chan kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. Candido Urbes's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Damaso Roldanillo firmly grabbed it by the left post. If Candido Urbes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Golaki Goiano took the ball and in the 92 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Damaso Roldanillo. Damaso Roldanillo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-6. 98 minutes into the game, Candido Urbes recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Damaso Roldanillo. Candido Urbes showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-7. When the final whistle sounded Jataiense Futebol Clube left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than San Lorenzo.
