Eugenio Schirru came out of the goal in the 9th minute to try and stop a shot by Salliqueló's Ismael Loiola. But to his dismay, Ismael Loiola quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Eugenio Schirru stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ismael Loiola's shot from short distance in the 15th minute. The supporters of Apocalypto booed when Salliqueló was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Melquiades Lopes didn't get a good kick on the ball. Victor Paublo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Davide Cavaliere in the 17th minute of the match. Apocalypto's Eugenio Schirru proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 20th minute of the match, managed to save Apocalypto from getting a goal against them. Ismael Loiola in the 22ndth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Eugenio Schirru, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. A collision led to Apocalypto getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Armando Pasquarelli hit a great ball. A hard shot by Isidro Peyo from long distance, 44 minutes into the match, got Eugenio Schirru's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Davide Cavaliere fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Victor Paublo having to interfere. Victor Paublo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arturo Munno, who was totally free with the ball in the 48th minute. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.
In the 53rd minute, Ulises Vistruario hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Apocalypto's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Florian Firmani in the 65th minute. A nice corner shot did that Florian Firmani got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Victor Paublo quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Eugenio Schirru didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ismael Loiola went, in the 68th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. When Ismael Loiola came up free with the goalie in the 73rd minute, the Salliqueló fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ismael Loiola couldn't finish the play. Victor Paublo was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Chico Paulista showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 3-1 in the 74 minute of play. If Davide Cavaliere had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Emanuel Cordara in the 79th minute of play forced Apocalypto's goalkeeper Eugenio Schirru to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match clock showed 81 minutes, the score became 4-1 when Emanuel Cordara sped through Apocalypto's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Eugenio Schirru. After a defensive mix-up in Apocalypto's zone, Filiberto Colas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Eugenio Schirru came out of the goal and Filiberto Colas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Eugenio Schirru took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ismael Loiola, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
