The audience was convinced that Ximenes Sangra's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Eugenio Schirru was relentless in the 8th minute of the game. Edgar Mellin hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. 10 minutes into the match, Apocalypto's Florian Firmani sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Adam Biörnberg narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 23rd minute Nils-Erik Wickander shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eugenio Schirru saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jens-Åke Godholm sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Adam Biörnberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Davide Cavaliere, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 28 minutes, Jens-Åke Godholm managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Dalens Darlings's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jens-Åke Godholm was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 30th minute, Jens-Åke Godholm managed to get in a good position for a shot. Dalens Darlings's supporters rose to their feet, but Jens-Åke Godholm was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Eugenio Schirru breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Eugenio Schirru came out of the goal in the 31st minute to try and stop a shot by Dalens Darlings's Andreas Jonasson. But to his dismay, Andreas Jonasson quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Ximenes Sangra hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. Florian Firmani took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 35th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Adam Biörnberg. Dalens Darlings's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Eugenio Schirru showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adam Hajduk in the 40th minute of the match. In the 42nd minute Ximenes Sangra shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eugenio Schirru saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jens-Åke Godholm might have been able to make a better finish in the 43rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Eugenio Schirru. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jens-Åke Godholm ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 44th minute Ximenes Sangra shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eugenio Schirru saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Eugenio Schirru took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jens-Åke Godholm, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a little luck, Dalens Darlings's Adam Biörnberg got control of the ball when Davide Cavaliere tried to sneak it across the goal line. The Apocalypto players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Dalens Darlings were winning 0-1.
Andreas Jonasson could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 52nd minute of the match, but Eugenio Schirru made a huge save. Jens-Åke Godholm struck a weak shot in the 53rd minute. Eugenio Schirru didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Dalens Darlings. After some fancy dribbling in the 57th minute, Chico Paulista managed to get in a good position for a shot. Apocalypto's supporters rose to their feet, but Chico Paulista was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Adam Biörnberg breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Adam Biörnberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arturo Munno in the 58th minute of play. Adam Biörnberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arturo Munno, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Andreas Jonasson came up free with the goalie in the 63rd minute, the Dalens Darlings fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Andreas Jonasson couldn't finish the play. 68 minutes into the match, Apocalypto's goal looked a bit too open when Jens-Åke Godholm came free, but Eugenio Schirru reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Andreas Jonasson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Dalens Darlings made a substitution. Folke Alebäck replaced Hugo Langøy. Evert Kielberg hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. Florian Firmani took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 73rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Adam Biörnberg. Dalens Darlings's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Dalens Darlings's Jens-Åke Godholm got a good chance for a goal in the 77th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Dalens Darlings's Harald Boman suffered a sore thigh after 84 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Adam Hajduk's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Eugenio Schirru read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 93rd minute of play. Jens-Åke Godholm scored 0-3 in the 95th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Eugenio Schirru, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When the final whistle sounded Dalens Darlings left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Apocalypto.
