The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Helmuts Picukāns during the 36th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Americo Txartiko to make the kick off. With a little luck, Gladiadores's Daniel Urbasa got control of the ball when Jan-Erik Jernberg tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 54 minutes Gladiadores's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Walter Johansson who took care of the corner kick. A nice corner shot did that Walter Johansson got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Daniel Urbasa quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Daniel Urbasa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fredrik Markusson in the 57th minute of the match. If Albino Belo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 61st match minute, Stadsbornas IF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Helge Bergdal to maneuver through the defense. In the 65th minute, Stadsbornas IF's Fredrik Markusson ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Daniel Urbasa. Daniel Urbasa yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-1. The audience thought a goal was coming when Malte Emander got free with Daniel Urbasa in the 78th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a rather tough play, Gladiadores's Pablo Innocenzio got a free kick in the 82nd minute. In the 83rd minute of the match Walter Johansson sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Daniel Urbasa skillfully saved the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 87th minute, Fredrik Markusson managed to get in a good position for a shot. Stadsbornas IF's supporters rose to their feet, but Fredrik Markusson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Daniel Urbasa breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Stadsbornas IF's Abel Flor played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marciano Pettinelli in the 89th minute of play. Gladiadores's Daniel Urbasa proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 94th minute of the match, managed to save Gladiadores from getting a goal against them. 95 minutes into the match, Gladiadores's goalkeeper Daniel Urbasa had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Fredrik Markusson. When the match was over Stadsbornas IF could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Gladiadores throughout the match.
