Hakan Ünsal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Daniel Urbasa having to interfere. Daniel Urbasa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hakan Ünsal in the 31st minute of the match. Everyone was convinced a goal was close when Al-Femur FC's Joaquin Ponc in the 47th minute lifted the ball towards the upper right corner, but Daniel Urbasa was perfectly placed and prevented a goal for Gladiadores through an amazing save. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Román Riquelme in the 47th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Daniel Urbasa prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Román Riquelme stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After taking down the ball on Al-Femur FC's corner Hakan Ünsal fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Daniel Urbasa quite easily take care of the ball. 80 minutes into the game, Lindo Trabucco was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Gladiadores had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
