Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Arnaldo Mota to make the kick off. Eliézer Leite showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-4. Teobaldo Libertad made an important save on a dangerous shot by Domingo Patrido in the 80th minute. If Arnaldo Mota had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Feliciano Bastia charged in rather forcefully in the 90th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Feliciano Bastia the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 90th match minute, Iguazú fútbol club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Feliciano Bastia to maneuver through the defense. Teobaldo Libertad showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arnaldo Mota in the 92nd minute of the match.
