Ivar Sundin might have been able to make a better finish in the 4th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Orvar Bäckström. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ivar Sundin ran back to his position shaking his head. The supporters of MDV Mount Eaver booed when Basavilbaso FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Henric Springfält didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 10th minute, Ivar Sundin made a precise shot to the right of Orvar Bäckström. Basavilbaso FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. 15 minutes into the game, MDV Mount Eaver's Jon Hernström nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Orvar Bäckström made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Jon Hernström received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Orvar Bäckström tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Clemente Rubios short, quick shot in the 19thth minute got Casper Lundin to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Orvar Bäckström showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jon Hernström, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. MDV Mount Eaver's Ivar Sundin got a good chance for a goal in the 22nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Jon Hernström fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Orvar Bäckström having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ivar Sundin in the 29th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Orvar Bäckström prevented the ball from getting in the gole. MDV Mount Eaver were awarded a corner in the 30th minute after Basavilbaso FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Konrad Biörnberg took the corner. Orvar Bäckström came out of the goal in the 32nd minute to try and stop a shot by MDV Mount Eaver's Ivar Sundin. But to his dismay, Ivar Sundin quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. Orvar Bäckström showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jon Hernström in the 35th minute of the match. MDV Mount Eaver's Jon Hernström got a good chance for a goal in the 37th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Clemente Rubio received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Casper Lundin came out and tried to block the shot, but Clemente Rubio slotted it home off the left post making it 1-3 in the 40th minute. When Jon Hernström came up free with the goalie in the 44th minute, the MDV Mount Eaver fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jon Hernström couldn't finish the play. When MDV Mount Eaver's Ivar Sundin in the 44th minute got a chance for a shot 44th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Basavilbaso FC's goalie prevented a goal. Clemente Rubio could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 46th minute of the match, but Casper Lundin made a huge save. With a little luck, MDV Mount Eaver's Casper Lundin got control of the ball when Clemente Rubio tried to sneak it across the goal line. After the first half MDV Mount Eaver were leading 1-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Zayvius Bengoechea's late challenge caught a MDV Mount Eaver's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Zayvius Bengoechea helped the player get up and apologised. Zayvius Bengoechea hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. Ivar Sundin blasted a shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Orvar Bäckström having to make a save. MDV Mount Eaver's Casper Lundin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Clemente Rubio in the 53rd minute of play. Basavilbaso FC's Orvar Bäckström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jon Hernström in the 55th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Basavilbaso FC's Venancio Lop got a free kick in the 60th minute. Orvar Bäckström took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jon Hernström, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 63 minutes of play, MDV Mount Eaver's Jon Hernström made it 1-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Orvar Bäckström was left in no man's land by his defense there! The audience was convinced that Jon Hernström's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Orvar Bäckström was relentless in the 67th minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Henric Springfält in the 68th minute of play forced MDV Mount Eaver's goalkeeper Casper Lundin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Through an outstanding action, after 70 minutes, Orvar Bäckström successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. When the match clock showed 72 minutes, the score became 1-5 when Tom Sjöman sped through Basavilbaso FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Orvar Bäckström. MDV Mount Eaver's Rikard Gunnarsson was substituted for Tom Sjöman. MDV Mount Eaver made a substitution. Tobias Lundgren replaced Ernst Hägg. Orvar Bäckström made an important save on a dangerous shot by Konrad Biörnberg in the 77th minute. 86 minutes into the match, Basavilbaso FC's goal looked a bit too open when Ivar Sundin came free, but Orvar Bäckström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rikard Gunnarssons short, quick shot in the 87thth minute got Orvar Bäckström to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Casper Lundin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Clemente Rubio in the 91st minute of play. Orvar Bäckström made an important save on a dangerous shot by Rikard Gunnarsson in the 92nd minute. After 93 minutes, Rikard Gunnarsson made it 1-6 with a short kick to the right side. Basavilbaso FC's Orvar Bäckström tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. MDV Mount Eaver played a much better game than Basavilbaso FC and deserved their victory. The Basavilbaso FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
