Wrexham's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. But to his dismay, Prudencio Ixidor quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. In the 42nd minute, Anios Karaoulanis made a precise shot to the right of Lorenz Ureta. Wrexham's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-3. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 2-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

In the 53rd minute Dimitri Payet shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sean Van Dijck saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Wrexham's Lorenz Ureta played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fredrik Terwenhout in the 83rd minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Joris De Raeve got free with Lorenz Ureta in the 84th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Siro Suarez hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. With a little luck, Wrexham's Lorenz Ureta got control of the ball when Fabian Orellana tried to sneak it across the goal line. 91 minutes into the match, Limburg United's goal looked a bit too open when Sten Kvick came free, but Sean Van Dijck reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 93rd minute, Joris De Raeve made a precise shot to the right of Lorenz Ureta. Wrexham's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-6. When the final whistle sounded Limburg United left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Wrexham.
