Davide Rinaldi was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 8th minute. Herta Budino's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. De Beverpatrouille's Gabriel Huyghebaert proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 10th minute of the match, managed to save De Beverpatrouille from getting a goal against them. A hard shot 12 in the game by Davide Rinaldi from a close distance when the talented Gabriel Huyghebaert managed to make a qualified save. De Beverpatrouille's players were relieved. Davide Rinaldi might have been able to make a better finish in the 14th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Gabriel Huyghebaert. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Davide Rinaldi ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 14th minute Davide Rinaldi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gabriel Huyghebaert saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ivan Van Meerbeek charged in rather forcefully in the 15th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ivan Van Meerbeek the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. De Beverpatrouille's Gabriel Huyghebaert played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Davide Rinaldi in the 16th minute of play. In the 23rd minute, Henri-Xavier Geeraerts hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Davide Rinaldi might have been able to make a better finish in the 33rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Gabriel Huyghebaert. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Davide Rinaldi ran back to his position shaking his head. Fortunato Sangermano didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Claus Rijmenans went, in the 36th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Herta Budino's Davide Rinaldi suffered a concussion in the 38th minute, after a hard challenge, and had to leave the field. Herta Budino's Holger Rune was substituted for Davide Rinaldi. Gabriel Huyghebaert made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Holger Rune in the 40th minute of play. 45 minutes into the game, Kleanthis Zoumakis cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Gabriel Huyghebaert was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Deng Ling Xu kicked well hit freekick during the 48th minute of the match. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Holger Rune took the ball and in the 53 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Gabriel Huyghebaert. Gabriel Huyghebaert dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. After a defensive mix-up in De Beverpatrouille's zone, Holger Rune stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gabriel Huyghebaert came out of the goal and Holger Rune tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 61stth minute of the game Holger Rune who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but De Beverpatrouille's Gabriel Huyghebaert was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 63rd minute, Ivan Van Meerbeek hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gabriel Huyghebaert took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kleanthis Zoumakis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 69 played minutes De Beverpatrouille got a freekick which was hit by Harald Smits. Herta Budino's Johannes Fransson quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Henri-Xavier Geeraerts, made in the 75th minute of the game. In the 80th minute Holger Rune shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gabriel Huyghebaert saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Holger Rune blasted a shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Gabriel Huyghebaert having to make a save. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Claus Rijmenans in the 84th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Fortunato Sangermano prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 88 minutes of play, Herta Budino's Kleanthis Zoumakis made it 5-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Gabriel Huyghebaert was left in no man's land by his defense there! Herta Budino's Corrado Loiacono was substituted for Johannes Fransson. In the 93rd minute Achille Di Crescenzo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gabriel Huyghebaert saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Herta Budino getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Deng Ling Xu hit a great ball. Herta Budino's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
