Viriato Cruz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Damaso Alonso, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. ΑΣΤΕΡΑΣ ΣΟΛΟΜΟΥ's Viriato Cruz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jurand Cempa in the 23rd minute of play. Zacisze Częstochowa were awarded a corner in the 24th minute after ΑΣΤΕΡΑΣ ΣΟΛΟΜΟΥ's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Cristo Verdu took the corner. With a little luck, Zacisze Częstochowa's Miroslaw Gollob got control of the ball when Kyriakos Georgopoulos tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 29thth minute of the game Egemen Tuna who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Zacisze Częstochowa's Miroslaw Gollob was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 32nd minute Zacisze Częstochowa were awarded a corner. Cristo Verdu went to the cornerflag to take it. After taking down the ball on Zacisze Częstochowa's corner Damaso Alonso fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Viriato Cruz quite easily take care of the ball. ΑΣΤΕΡΑΣ ΣΟΛΟΜΟΥ's Egemen Tuna came free and shot a quick shot against goal 34 minutes in the game, fortunately Miroslaw Gollob had problems saving as it came toward the left post. Viriato Cruz came out of the goal in the 36th minute to try and stop a shot by Zacisze Częstochowa's Gaston Zárate. But to his dismay, Gaston Zárate quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. In the 41st minute Gilberto Gonçalves shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Miroslaw Gollob saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Zacisze Częstochowa getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Maksymilian Drapinski hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gilberto Gonçalves in the 44th minute of play forced Zacisze Częstochowa's goalkeeper Miroslaw Gollob to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Gaston Zárate made the kick off in the second half. Jurand Cempa's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 95thth minute, Viriato Cruz skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. After 96 minutes ΑΣΤΕΡΑΣ ΣΟΛΟΜΟΥ's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Cristo Verdu who took care of the corner kick. Cristo Verdu made a great header on Zacisze Częstochowa's corner, it was just that ΑΣΤΕΡΑΣ ΣΟΛΟΜΟΥ's Viriato Cruz managed to reach the ball for a save. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Zacisze Częstochowa eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
