Jurand Cempa scored 0-1 in the 3rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Best Castray, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Jurand Cempa might have been able to make a better finish in the 7th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Best Castray. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jurand Cempa ran back to his position shaking his head. Juan Pueblo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 12th minute of the match, but Miroslaw Gollob made a huge save. In the 15th minute, Axel Coomans hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience was convinced that Jurand Cempa's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Best Castray was relentless in the 17th minute of the game. After 21 played minutes Zacisze Częstochowa got a freekick which was hit by Akif Yetik. 23 minutes into the match, Juan Pueblo notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Zacisze Częstochowa's Miroslaw Gollob. Miroslaw Gollob was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Jurand Cempa blasted a shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Best Castray having to make a save. After a rather tough play, ARGIES's Lázaro Peio got a free kick in the 31st minute. Best Castray made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jurand Cempa in the 32nd minute of play. ARGIES's Best Castray played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jurand Cempa in the 35th minute of play. 37 minutes into the match, Zacisze Częstochowa's goalkeeper Miroslaw Gollob had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Alfonso Palos. Jurand Cempa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 42nd minute Napoleon Trojanowski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Best Castray saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Napoleon Trojanowski blasted a shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Best Castray having to make a save. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Feliciano Belmiro was the one to do the kick off. In the 60th match minute, ARGIES was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eduardo Eztebe to maneuver through the defense. Best Castray made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jurand Cempa in the 61st minute. After 61st play minutes Jurand Cempa shot 1-2, a short shot which went by Best Castray and just under the crossbar into goal. After some careless play in the ARGIES defense, Jurand Cempa kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Best Castray. The ARGIES fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Best Castray should have stopped the shot. Zacisze Częstochowa's Gaston Zárate was substituted for Napoleon Trojanowski. The Zacisze Częstochowa fans' excitement grew in the 77th match minute when Zacisze Częstochowa's Jurand Cempa looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-5 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. A collision led to ARGIES getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Eduardo Eztebe hit a great ball. If Jurand Cempa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 87th minute, Jurand Cempa reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Best Castray. The goal made the score 1-6. A collision led to Zacisze Częstochowa getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Zenon Cisek hit a great ball. In the 93rd minute, Jurand Cempa got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Zacisze Częstochowa walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
