Jorge Iztal came out of the goal and Gilberto Gonçalves tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 46th minute, Gilberto Gonçalves managed to get in a good position for a shot. ΑΣΤΕΡΑΣ ΣΟΛΟΜΟΥ's supporters rose to their feet, but Gilberto Gonçalves was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Viriato Cruz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aaron Cutberto in the 81st minute of the match. Jorge Iztal was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 83rd minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Apostolis Stamatelopoulos. Arnoldo Arotza recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 84th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 91st minute, Sotiris Giannopoulos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Espirillo FC getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Gregorio Hotz hit a great ball. Gilberto Gonçalves could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 93rd minute of the match, but Jorge Iztal made a huge save. Jorge Iztal showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Apostolis Stamatelopoulos, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. Espirillo FC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
