With a couple of smart ball manuevers Orhan Bey in the 12th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Kenneth Knudsen saved AEK FC from getting behind. Yaman Academy®'s Efe Akçay quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Bjørn Østby, made in the 19th minute of the game. 22 minutes into the match, Yaman Academy®'s Orhan Bey sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Kenneth Knudsen narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Yaman Academy® were awarded a corner in the 23th minute after AEK FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Altan Andaç took the corner. After some fancy dribbling in the 26th minute, Carlos Alberto Marquez managed to get in a good position for a shot. Yaman Academy®'s supporters rose to their feet, but Carlos Alberto Marquez was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Kenneth Knudsen breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Orhan Bey in the 30th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Kenneth Knudsen prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 34 played minutes AEK FC got a freekick which was hit by Sondre Kråkenes. 35 minutes into the match, AEK FC's goal looked a bit too open when Orhan Bey came free, but Kenneth Knudsen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bjørn Østby's late challenge caught a Yaman Academy®'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Bjørn Østby helped the player get up and apologised. After 36 played minutes AEK FC got a freekick which was hit by Bjørn Østby. In the 40th minute, one of AEK FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for AEK FC. Orhan Bey took the ball and in the 47 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Kenneth Knudsen. Kenneth Knudsen dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-4. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Divock Origi stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd match minute, Yaman Academy® was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Altan Andaç to maneuver through the defense.
