Soflov FC's Benedicto Vidal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Enzo-Nicolás Pérez in the 5th minute of play. After having played for 6 minutes, Marco Domeka managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Soflov FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Marco Domeka was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 8 minutes into the match, Gerardo Hitz had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Benedicto Vidal. Soflov FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gerardo Hitz was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. After 14 minutes Soflov FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Sebastian Enekoitz who took care of the corner kick. With an all-out effort, Soflov FC's Karl-Johan Ahlqvist threw himself towards the right post 19 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Feliks Nieruchliwy, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Benedicto Vidal showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gerardo Hitz in the 21st minute of the match. Benedicto Vidal stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gerardo Hitz's shot from short distance in the 23rd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gerardo Hitz in the 30th minute of play forced Soflov FC's goalkeeper Benedicto Vidal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Percy Romero got free with Karl-Johan Ahlqvist in the 33rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Remigio Mikelats was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 65 minutes into the match. One of Soflov FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Black Rose 1979:s goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 67th minute, Orlando Rudolfo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Black Rose 1979's supporters rose to their feet, but Orlando Rudolfo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Benedicto Vidal breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 69th minute Orlando Rudolfo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benedicto Vidal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 71 minutes, Percy Romero mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Soflov FC and the Black Rose 1979 players grew even worse after the yellow card. If Orlando Rudolfo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 81 minutes into the match, Soflov FC's goal looked a bit too open when Orlando Rudolfo came free, but Benedicto Vidal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In a very dangerous position, a player in Soflov FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 82nd minute. Penalty! When the match had been going on for 83 minutes, Black Rose 1979's Sebastian Enekoitz got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Benedicto Vidal. Benedicto Vidal made a fantastic save in the 86th minute, when Orlando Rudolfo sent off a good shot on target. After a defensive mix-up in Soflov FC's zone, Sebastian Enekoitz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Benedicto Vidal came out of the goal and Sebastian Enekoitz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Soflov FC's Benedicto Vidal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gerardo Hitz in the 93rd minute of play. Black Rose 1979's Waldemar Matorin got a good chance for a goal in the 94th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Benedicto Vidal showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gerardo Hitz in the 98th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Orlando Rudolfo got free with Benedicto Vidal in the 101st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The Soflov FC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Black Rose 1979 were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
